Rewilding Sweden - Do nothing for nature

Client - Rewilding Sweden is a non‑profit conservation organisation restoring Swedish ecosystems through rewilding: rebuilding habitats, reintroducing key species and then stepping back to let nature recover on its own. The assignment was to help them reach and engage private donors in Sweden.

Problem - Environmental organisations often communicate with urgency, guilt and calls to do more. The result is climate fatigue and emotionally shut‑off audiences. At the same time awareness of both rewilding as a method and Rewilding Sweden as an organisation was extremely low. People can’t support what they don’t understand.

Idea - Instead of asking people to do more, we asked them to do nothing. The campaign "Do nothing for nature" is built on the core of rewilding: once nature gets the right conditions, it heals itself. Through a bold and disarming tone of voice, the communication reframes helping the environment as stepping aside. Making the method understandable, memorable and engaging.
